When an Administrator chooses to enable the Restrict Access to CMS Via IP Address option, all of the current users assigned to the company will be required to access CMS from one of the IPs defined by the administrator. However, there are occasions (e.g. snow storm) when this restriction may need to be lifted for specific business purposes.
To lift the IP restriction for a specific user, click on the Users tab, then click on the Edit icon on the row for that specific user, then uncheck the 'Restrict Access to CMS Via IP Address' checkbox. To save the change, click the Save button. To disregard any changes made on this page, click on the Cancel button.
When there is at least one user who has the restriction lifted, an administrator will see an indicator message on the Settings tab as shown below.
An indicator message that not all users have an IP restriction is also shown on the Edit and Show Settings pages as depicted below.
